After dropping Cam off at EFY, we took Seth to the Peery's to spend the week. Dave and I stayed at the Sokols, while they were still in California. We woke up and went on a nice hike to Donut Falls. Dave had a chat with a chipmunk.
We tried to cross the creek, but I fell in right away. Dave made it one way across, then fell in on the way back.
We tried a little bakery called The Sweet Tooth Fairy that someone had told us about. The chocolate one was so moist and yummy.
That afternoon we drove out to Antelope Island. It was a little eerie. We found this little guy INSIDE the Visitor's Center.
We visited an old ranch and then drove a bit farther out to see buffalo, but they were still pretty far away.
On the way back from Antelope Island, we stopped for free slurpees (it was 7-11 day), missing being in a big accident. We headed to Orem to meet up with Mike and Stefanie for dinner. We had a bit of time so we walked around the temple some and went to JoAnn to pick out fabric for living room pillows. We ate at the Union Station Grill. We had been to the previous location and enjoyed it but didn't like it this time. It was good to to catch up.
I didn't like my dinner, so we went to Sub-Zero to get ice cream. They put all the ingredients in a bowl and then freeze dried it.
I liked my minty chocolatey one but Dave didn't care for his cheery one.

Wednesday morning we went to the Provo City Center Temple. It was so pretty inside, but the other Provo Temple was closed, so it was crowded and a little slow.
We had a huge lunch at Tucanos. There was a delicious chicken they brought around and I loved the breads and salad bar. We tried a chicken heart too!
We also went to the Springfield Museum of Art, which we really enjoyed.
At night, we mostly watched episodes of Stranger Things on Netflix.

Lex was in Utah visiting one of her USUE friends.
She met us at Waffle Love for a birthday breakfast. We had given her clothes and trip money, but we had found some blue Crocs and got them for her. She strangely always wanted some.
After breakfast we drove back to Logan. Dave and I went to a session in the Logan Temple. It was kinda 70's-ish inside. We spent the rest of the day with the Peery's. Dave and Sven went fishing that night a little way out of town.

Friday we stayed at the Peery's and Dave and I took the boys to see Spider Man Homecoming. The Captain America PSAs were hilarious.
The highlight of Seth's week with the Peery's was their day at Bear Lake.
July 15, 2017
Saturday morning we picked up Cam and headed to Paragoonah to stay the night. I let Cam drive on one of the deserted dirt roads. She thinks she is such a good driver.
Lex spent a little longer in Utah and she hiked to Donut Falls too, with the Sokols. I think she has become a favorite cousin with all her visits while she was at school.

Sunday we went to church and then headed home. Seth was sleeping with one eye open. Creepy!
