The Phantom of the Opera

Friday, February 25, 2011

They were having a 2 for 1 deal for locals tickets to see Phantom. I wanted to take my girls and Ryan and Chris decided to send their girls with us.

Camryn was especially excited and was bouncing around all over.

We had great seats in the front side section.

The show was awesome. The stage is amazing. The girls thought a few parts were a little loud. Alexis would warn the twins when the loud organ music was coming up. Camryn was fascinated by the fact that people were paid to be actors. She definitely knows what she wants to be when she grows up.

Called to Serve

Thursday, February 24, 2011

My parents have anxiously awaited their mission call for the past several weeks. They finally got it on Thursday. we all got together at our house to watch them open it. We made our predictions about where they would go.

Dave guessed it - they were called to the St. George Visitor's Center Mission. I am excited that we will be able to visit them when we pass through on our way to the cabin. They report to the MTC April 11th and will be serving for 18 months.

Sister Jex held her annual piano recital. Mom and my girls made up about half her students. I don't think she was planning on so many to attend, thanks to the Jenkins family.

Camryn's best song out of her 3, was "Old McDonald".

Alexis played 3 songs. Her best song was "Grandfather's Grandfather Clock".

They all did a good job and we enjoyed refreshments afterwards. Sister Jex is a great teacher.
