Seth's 5th Grade Graduation

Thursday, June 8, 2017

Seth's last day of Elementary School included a "Victory" walk through the halls with everyone cheering the 5th graders on and a promotion ceremony.

Seth was awarded the Presidential Academic certificate, the Citizenship Award, and the A/B Honor Award,

He also earned the Great American Award and got certificates from some Nevada politicians. Only 4 students in the 5th grade earned this award this year. To earn this the students had to write The Pledge of Allegiance, recite the National Anthem, fill out a map with all the states and capitals, recited the Gettysburg Address and the Preamble to the Constitution, and name all the Presidents in order. It was very difficult and a huge accomplishment.

Lex and I were there to cheer him on.

This year he rotated to all the 5th grade teachers for different subjects, but his favorite was his homeroom teacher, Ms. Bryan. He also loved going to GATE with Mrs. Sanchez.

Kristain Merino was Seth's best buddy in 5th grade.

Angelia wanted a picture with Seth too. We think she maybe had a little crush on him.

I'm pretty sad to see Seth move on the middle school. I have enjoyed his company and appreciated all his help in the mornings, but I think he is ready to move on and be his own man.

The girls sent me pictures of their last days of school too. Lex made the Dean's List both semesters and Cam was on the A/B Honor Roll. They all made me proud this year.
