Our February show was RENT. We had this great plan to go to a New York Deli before the show, but it was a lunch place and was already closed. then we got the great idea to go to Dirt Dog, because hot dogs are New Yorky too. The line was too long there and we ended up at Farmer Boys Burgers. It was not very fast, or fitting in with the New York theme. We were all kinda flustered and annoyed by the time we got to the show.
We didn't love the show. Some of the characters were just so unlikable!
We did use the back of the program to make Seth this baller watch though!

Love Never Dies was the worst! It was a sequel to The Phantom of the Opera. The story was ridiculous and the characters were awful. We hated it!

The Color Purple was amazing! The acting and singing were wonderful and I loved the set. It had wooden walls with chairs on them that were used as props, like plows and a jail, and the flooring was like layered decks. It was stark and beautiful.

We finally got to see the show that we had been waiting for - Hamilton! The kids had listened to the soundtrack so many times when it came out, they had the whole thing memorized! We went to the Chicken Shack for dinner. Cam's choice.
We finally got to see the show that we had been waiting for - Hamilton! The kids had listened to the soundtrack so many times when it came out, they had the whole thing memorized! We went to the Chicken Shack for dinner. Cam's choice.
It took me a good 15 minutes of the play to get over it not being the original cast, but then I loved it. It was so good. We really enjoyed going to a play each month and spending this time together.
