We have been close to the Peery family since they moved here about 7 years ago. Sven graduated from dental school and he and his family were ready to move on from Vegas. Andrea and I decided to throw a little party to wish them well. We had a dessert potluck and although we had planned to watch a movie, we ended up just visiting. The kids played in the field, loving it when the sprinklers came on.
The kids played for hours and the grownups just chatted.

We got together as much as we could the last few weeks. It was finally time for our final goodbye. The boys had spent the week at Day Camp and the last night there was a family dinner. We ate together and then gave them big hugs goodbye.
Seth was full of tears, so I taught him how to wallow in his sadness. We went home and cuddled, as we watched a sad movie (Bridge to Teribithia) and ate ice cream.
The Peerys have been such good friends to us and Mason has been his very best friend for so long. We wish them well in Logan, but will miss them so much here.
