Cousins Camp 2014

Friday, June 13-Sunday, June 22, 2014

With Ryan and Lee going to Brazil for the World Cup and Dave and I both going to Girls Camp this year, we asked my parents to have another Cousins' Camp.  The party started a day early.  We met up with Lee's family and the kids ate at CiCi's Pizza, while some of the grownups went to eat at Taco y Taco. With their parents leaving around 3:00 in the morning, we decided to have Lee's kids and Zack spend the night.

Mason wasn't feeling good and passed out early.

The rest of the kids watched movies.  Austin and Dave watched Avengers together.

The next morning, Grandma Jenkins packed up 4 Jenkins kids and 2 Hill kids in Lee's car and headed for Paragonah.  Jacquelynn's family met them there, taking the grandkid total to 9 kids!  They made paddles to play balloon volleyball with and played in the garage, because the grass kept popping the balloons.  The next morning they all went to church, then Jac and Jeff traveled down to Vegas, for a little break from their kids.

Monday morning Grandma and Grandpa took the kids up to the cabin. Grandpa took them fishing and they worked on their fort.

On Tuesday, Grandpa left for Girls Camp and left Grandma on her own with all those kids.  They made cards and bracelets and went on a scavenger hunt.

They roasted marshmallows and had s'mores.

On Wednesday, Jac came to pick up her kids and picked up my two as well.  She took them up to Sandy to spend the rest of the week. Thursday they went to Liberty Park to play in the water and ride the swings and carousel.

That night Uncle Jeff took the kids hiking to a waterfall.

Friday, Jac took the kids to a park with a cool jungle gym, then to Trafalga.

They did bumper boats, rock climbing, laser tag, and ate Dippin' Dots.

Saturday they went to Seven Peaks Water Park.  I can't believe how many places they went in just a few days!  Sunday they went to church, to a park, and fed ducks. They had such a busy week without us, but were happy to see us when Dave, Lex, and I arrived in Sandy that night.
