May Performances

May 2014

The end of the year is always busy with performances.  Camryn had a talent show night at Hollywood Kids.  She sang "Naughty" from the Broadway show Matilda.  We are going to see it in NY this summer, and we were happy to get familiar with the music.  She did a great job and looked so cute in her new dress.

The whole class also did a song from High School Musical. They will be putting that show on at the end of the summer.

The Fong Honor Choir put on a concert called A Splash of Blue.  They sang water related songs like "Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride".

At the end, the older kids played percussion instruments wile the youngers played boomwackers.  It was a cool song and great ending to the concert.

Cam & Alex

We ended our Fong Days with the annual talent show at the end of May.  I got a little more involved this year, helping select the acts and writing the script.  Cam and Seth both got in.

Seth showed off his drum skills.  He has only been taking lessons a few short months, from a HS senior in our ward, Reed Haycock.  He really rocked it and was so cute tipping his hat at the end.  Camryn sang "Popular" from Wicked.  One of the kids told her it was like a play and we had to explain that it was from a play.  So glad we could bring a little culture to Fong. I cried through the whole show.  There was definitely hard things about working at Fong, but I will greatly miss it.
