LVPSA

In June of 2014, Alexis made the Las Vegas Premier Soccer Academy Red team.  They played in a California league this spring\ and went down for 2 weekends and played several games. The first weekend Sam and her mom drove down with us and we shared a room to cut down the costs. Sam tried to give Lex a henna tattoo, but it didn't show up too well.

They girls had a hard time settling the ball during both Saturday games.

The best part of any game is listening to Coach Kyle yell at the refs. He is so calm with the girls but then is so outraged by anything the refs do. It's pretty hilarious.

Saturday night, the team ate together. We watched the girls eating like pigs and wondered how they get boys to like them. They played better the next game but struggled both of the weekends they went.

Alexis has really enjoyed playing on this team.  They say a prayer together before each game and Kyle takes the time to talk to the players when they come off the field. Alexis appreciates this instruction and loves to tease him. He is very young (22) and easy to tease.

The team also played in the State Cup League here in Nevada and made it to the finals against Heat.  We had a rough game and lost.

The girls got medals for coming in 2nd. They qualified to go to a regional tournament but opted not to go due to the expense.  They had a good year and the team was a good fit for Lex.
