Dave and I went on an early Valentine's Day date. Dave had never been to Brio, so we tried that. He was a bit tired from a scout campout the night before, but we still had a good time eating out on the patio.

Seth wanted to make a cool box to have his Valentine's delivered to in his class on Thursday. We had made Minion Valentine's out of Twinkies, so we made a Minion Mailbox too. It was so cute. Dave left on Thursday for the Man Trip, but had flowers and chocolates sent to my work on Friday, which was a Staff Development Day.
Cam had been watching Parks & Rec on Netflix and got the idea to host a "Gal"entine's Day dinner, like on the show. We invited the Grandma Hill, the Aunts, and the girl cousins to go to Denny's with us (they have breakfast on the show) and we made everyone a little treat. Abigail gave out baskets of nail care products that were so cute too. Uncle Lee took the boy cousins to CiCi's for dinner.
Cam made some more of the little pies for her girlfriends and Lex made Robbie and Deanna a little package of donut holes and a little bottle of milk that said, "Donut you know I love you a hole bunch!"
Seth hosted a "Bro"mance party Saturday night. He had the boy cousins sleepover and the Metzger boys, the Tanner boys, and Joel come for games and a movie. They started by playing Telestrations and Goblet of Fire.
They did pretty pretty well with those games, but had a little bit harder time with Apples to Apples, because there were quite a few words they didn't know.
The kids frosted and decorated their own cupcakes. Kyler went a little crazy with the sprinkles.
They ended the night with a movie, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.
Lex had a tournament that weekend. They played well and won the most games in their bracket, but did not move on to the final game, because they didn't have the most points. It was pretty disappointing.

We had a great weekend in Vegas, and Dave had a pretty awesome weekend at the cabin.
He won the holey ladle! Zach was the winner the previous year and presented it to him.
