The Stratosphere was allowing locals to go to the top for free the last week of February. I told the kids we were going on a family field trip, but did not tell them where we were going. Lex had soccer and Dave is terrified height (especially the Stratosphere), so we went with the Tatums. The kids couldn't tell where we were because the tower was blocked from the parking garage. It took them a while to figure it out.
We went up the very fast elevator and checked things out from the inside.
Then we checked out the view from the outside.
We took lots of pics.
Then headed back down. We rarely do touristy things, so this was a fun outing.
