Dave's Birthday

I decided to take Dave on a Progressive Dinner Date. We ate each course of our meal at  a different place. We started at Table 34 with the Crab Cakes. This is not a regular menu item and I had to call ahead to make sure they had them that night. Luckily they did and we made that our 1st stop. 

We had entrees at Zest. We each had a chicken dish and they were both so delicious. Dave always gets a shrimp stuffed chicken breast and I tried something new. We took a break from eating and went to see the new Fast and the Furious movie. It was fun but so implausible, it got kinda silly. we ended the night by grabbing a slice of cheesecake from the CheeseCake Factory, across from the theater. It was the perfect dinner.

On Dave's actual birthday we just had a quick family dinner, before heading off to the Spring Concert at Hummel. Seth put this note on Dave's package. We had a long discussion about when to celebrate Dave's birthday and when he actually turned 41, based on Japanese time differences.

Dave got a print of his favorite painting, Prayer at Valley Forge by Arnold Friberg.
