The kids tried to pack in all the fun they could during their last week of summer.

Lex went to a Shaving Cream Slip n' Slide hang out at Shae's. They all jumped into the hot tub to wash off.
Cam spent her last Saturday morning repelling with the Sawyers. She and Heather have become good friends and have so much fun together. Cam looked a little nervous to start with but made it down pretty quickly after she got going.
Seth and I spent the morning making pies for the ward party at Mt. Charleston. They were having a contest for the Most Creative Pie and the Best Tasting Pie. We found some ideas on Pinterest. Seth wanted to make an owl. I made the pattern then he cut out the face and used cookie cutters for the feathers. It turned out so cute!
I made a Pi Pie. I thought it was funny but I don't think everyone got it. I overheard someone call it the pie with numbers.
Mt. Charleston was fun, with lots of food. The kids spent time hiking and playing football. The grown ups just visited. The highlight was Seth winning the award for The Most Creative Pie. He was up the hill when they announced the winner. He ran down and took a bad digger on the way down the hill. He was so excited!
