Uncle David set up rooms for us at the hotel he manages - Loews Royal Pacific Resort. It is very nice and very tropical looking. We ate lunch at the hotel's restaurant and rested a little.
Universal Studios is right across from the hotel. You can walk or take a boat ride over. This statue is at the boat dock. It reminded the kids of the pose our neighbors, Garrick and Danny taught them. They call it "Lady on a Beach".
We spent the evening at Universal's City Walk. They had a dinner and a movie deal that we did. We went to watch Planet 51 - an animated alien movie.
This surfboard was set up in front of a surf shop, right next to the movie theater.
We went to eat dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe. The kids didn't really know many of the singers that had memorabilia hanging up. They did recognize the KISS mementos we were seated by.
