Pajama Party

We had a Pajama Party at Preschool today. We made our own teddy bears on Tuesday - I had sewn all but a little opening, then the kids drew the face and stuffed the bears before I finished sewing them up. Today each child brought a story to read and we snuggled up on our huge couch and read books. Here is Seth and his buddy Mason:


After each book, I came up with a little activity, song, or game that had to do with the story. This required some quick thinking, because I had no idea what they would bring. Seth choose the book Once Upon a Cool Motorcycle Dude and we played Princess, Princess, Dude (Duck, Duck, Goose). It's a great book and won the Nevada Young Reader Award this year.

It was fun - but Seth was bawling when his friends left. He thought we were having a Sleepover!
