We got season tickets to the Smith Center. Our tickets are soooo high up but we are happy to be able to go. The first show was "Something Rotten". It was about two playwrights trying to pit on a musical during Shakespeare's time. There a lot of jokes about other musicals and quite a bit of innuendo. I didn't notice until half way through there weren't really and other kids there. It was enlightening to see what jokes the kids got.

Our second show at The Smith Center was The Little Mermaid. We didn't love the singing or the "underwater" movements of the actors. The actors were doing wire work and were swishing around like they were swimming, but then when they were on stage they kept moving like that. It was so annoying.

I loved The King and I. It was cute and funny and I thought the singing was pretty good.
